Here Comes Peter Cottontail Hoppin Down the Bunny Trail...

So we had a fun filled Easter weekend.  Saturday we went to the Cotton District Festival in Starkville and then Abby went to her 1st Easter egg hunt at my mama's church in Macon. Here are some pics from the Easter egg hunt.  I think she had fun. It took her a little while to figure out what she was suppose to be doing, but she found 9 EGGS!! (with just a little of my help of course).

After we hunted eggs, we went to LuLu and Pops' house (my mama and daddy) for a short nap and then it was Easter egg dying time!! I didn't know how she was going to do with this. I set everything up outside on the patio.  We put one of LuLu's tshirts on, and outside we went to dye Easter eggs.  She LOVED it! I am so glad we did everything outside because she made a complete mess.  We both had dye on our fingers until last night.  Here are some pics!

Here are the eggs! They are not the most beautiful dyed eggs I have seen, but they are Abby's 1st!

Sunday, Easter morning the Easter bunny came to see Abby and left her a basket full of goodies!! I don't think she really knew what to think.

After seeing what the Easter bunny brought we got ready and went to church.  I took a few pics and then my camera went dead (only me).  My mother-n-law had her camera and we took pics with it, so I will have to get them from her and post some more pics!  After church we had an Easter egg hunt at our church for our 4 children we have (Abby included).  She had fun and got even more eggs than at her first hunt!!
